My art is a reflection of my daily life; to that of which I am inspired and of universal spiritual themes. The images that I draw and paint, are guided by the connections found through the peaceful quietness of meditation and of allowing these images to come through with little or no preconceived direction. The process in which I use to create my paintings usually begins with pen and ink black lines. Drawing this way, could be likened to automatic drawing, channeling images from Universal Consciousness. Painting involves the same technique, colors flow without direct thought or planning. It's intuitive.
The natural world, animals, children, magic and synchronicity also guide my creative process leading to art that is meant to be uplifting and to give feelings of magical surprise and joy, with the ultimate goal being to give affirmations of the links that connect us together as a whole. The paintings tell stories and you are the interpreter. Whether it be dog art, spiritual art, animal art, or any other art that I create, I hope that it brings a smile, healing, hope, and the lightness of feeling so much needed in times like today!
Most of the paintings are pen and ink and watercolor, ranging from 4x6 to 9x12.

This journey has given me an internal strength that of which has offered me the courage to allow time and space to be who I am, spend time with the people who are dear to me and pursue goals that are closest to my heart.
I started Anna's Daily Art Blog in 2006, with a current relaunch in 2022. The Daily Art gives me a way to share my paintings with a greater audience while providing me with a platform to create art every day! In this way I am able to share messages spirituality geared toward healing through my art. You may find that in each work there are meanings that may pertain to current spiritual and global changes. There may be messages there for you on a personal level as well. Listen carefully and the art will speak to you.
